Welcoming our P7s to Bell Baxter

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Last Wednesday, 29th May, we welcomed the P7s from our cluster primary schools up to Bell Baxter for the day.  The P7 pupils, supported by the S3 monitors, had the opportunity to get to know the school throughout the day as they participated in a number of activities – Trash Fashion Show, Treasure Hunt, LRC Escape Room and DofE activities.

This is only a small part of a transition programme which has run throughout the year; the P7s will visit us in June to follow their timetable for two days.

We hope that everyone had a good day and we are looking forward to you all joining us August!

ICT Acceptable Use Policy – P7 pupils

To ensure that our new S1 pupils can access the school network as soon as they arrive at Bell Baxter, we are encouraging P7 parents and carers to read and complete the school’s acceptable use policy for ICT: see below for link.

The policy sets out the expectations of pupils when they are using IT facilities within the school.  Parents, carers and pupils should carefully read the policy and submit the form acknowledging that they understand its contents and agree to our expectations;  pupils’ responsibilities will be covered again in class.

Thank you.

Cluster Dance Show

The school hosted the very first Cluster Dance Show on Friday evening.  The event was the culmination of the work done by the Sports Ambassadors and Dance Leaders with our cluster primary schools – delivering dance sessions and supporting extra-curricular clubs.

A big ‘thank you’ to pupils and staff from Springfield PS, Auchtermuchty PS, Falkland PS, Dairise PS, Castlehill PS and St Columba’s PS who participated in the show.  Also, the event was supported by community dance groups such as JML, Joyce Anderson Dance School and Diamonds Allstars.

A great night of dance which couldn’t have gone ahead without the support of all the volunteers.  Everyone did an incredible job!
