Destinations Information Evening

Just a reminder that a Destination Information Evening will be held in the school on Thursday, 27th September from 7.00pm – 8.30pm.  It is important that pupils and/or parents sign up to attend the evening as soon as possible to allow staff to plan for the event: see below.

The purpose of the evening is to provide learners in S4-S6 and their Parents/Carers with information regarding post-school opportunities available to them at local colleges.  General workplace advice will also be available from an Employability Officer who will provide an overview of Foundation Apprenticeship and post-employment opportunities.  Additionally, a Careers Coach from Skills Development Scotland with be available for consultation and advice throughout the evening.

Contributors will include Fife College, Dundee & Angus College, Perth College/UHI, SRUC Elmwood Campus, Employability Officer (Fife Council) and Skills Development Scotland (SDS).

7.00pm – 7.10pm

In order to aid planning for the evening, we would be grateful if you could use the link – “Registering for a Destination Information Evening presentation” – below to complete an online form.  The form will enable you to choose which two of the education provider presentations and Q & A sessions you would like to attend on the evening: each presentation will last 30 minutes.

Your son/daughter can access a computer in the LRC should they wish to complete the form.  Returns should be made by Friday, 14th September, 2018.
