Anticipation, excitement and curiosity may well be tempered with anxiety, uncertainty, fear and a sense of bewilderment as we are faced with unfamiliar experiences, people, places or events.<\/p>\n<p>At Beanstalk Family Nurture Centre\u00a0 we\u00a0want the transition to be a positive experience and we strive for it to be\u00a0 as\u00a0 seamless and natural\u00a0 as possible for all children and families.<\/p>\n<p>What to expect from a\u00a0 transition to\u00a0 Beanstalk\u00a0 Family Nurture Centre<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contact prior to child starting\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0 an opportunity for Parent\/Carer to share information about the child and also ask questions about the nursery life.<\/li>\n<li>Digital communication with information about staff and nursery life.<\/li>\n<li>Nursery settle visit with the parent\/carer.<\/li>\n<li>Three nursery settle visit,\u00a0 this is flexible and more can be added to meet each child&#8217;s individual need.<\/li>\n<li>When a child starts nursery their attendance time is decided in discussion with parents\/carers.<\/li>\n<li>When a child starts nursery they will be assigned a keyworker from the staff team that will be the main point of contact for the family.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Settle in chat&#8221;\u00a0 will happen with keyworker when the child has been attending for 6-8 weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We all know the familiar feelings when contemplating change.
