Beanstalk Family Nurture Centre
Beanstalk Family Nurture Centre has 2 nurseries. One building is located on Fergus Place and one building is located on Aberdour Road.
The building on Fergus Place is a custom built Family Centre. The centre is well established as it opened in 1975 and was one of the first centres of it’s kind in Fife.
The nursery has 2 play areas for 3-5 year olds – Ladybirds Room and Butterflies room along with our Bumblebees room which offers space to 2-3 year olds whose families meet the criteria. Spaces for under 3’s are allocated at a panel meeting.
All areas have access to secure outdoor play provision.
The building on Aberdour Road is a custom built nursery.
The nursery has 2 play areas for 3-5 year olds – The Poppy room and Snowdrops room along with our Bluebell room which offers space to 2-3 year olds whose families meet the criteria. Spaces for under 3’s are allocated at a panel meeting.
All areas have access to secure outdoor play provision.
In addition to this we have a Family area, The Daisy Room, which is regularly used to accommodate parent groups.
We have a dedicated Family Support Worker who works in both buildings and identifies and organises which groups would be beneficial to the families in our community.
The nursery over the 2 buildings provides care and education to the families in the local area. The nursery is open to applications from across the Dunfermline area for both the under 3 provision and pre-school provision.
The nursery session offered across the 2 buildings:
- 9am-3pm – term time
- 8.00am-12.40pm – 49 weeks per year
- 1.20pm – 6.00pm – 49 weeks per year
