January 2025 – UPDATE

• Jewellery – a common sense approach should be taken with regard to the wearing of jewellery in school. The jewellery should not pose a risk to the wearer or anyone else when participating in activities, especially PE where there is a risk of jewellery getting caught in clothing for example. Expensive and sentimental items should not be brought to school as these items could get lost.

February 2025 – UPDATE

• Online Safety – Following Internet Safety Day, please click on the link to view a Fife Council SWAY which aims to support families to understand the risks, and to have appropriate conversations with their children, around using the internet. There is guidance from a range of sources and at the end of the sway there is specific information on keeping young children safe online. Keeping your child safe online

 

March 2025 – UPDATE

• Mobile Phones/Smart Watches – a reminder that if your child brings a mobile phone and/or a smartwatch to school this should be handed in at 9am where it will be stored at the school office. During school hours please be reassured that we will contact you if needed and that any updates received by the school office from parents will be passed on to your child
