The nursery children have been independently creating their own puppet shows. A few children have based their performance on familar stories – retelling “The Gruffalo” and “Goldilocks and the Three Bears.” Other children are enjoying the freedom to create animal stories using the wide variety of puppets available.

The nursery children suggested we could raise money towards their Clydebuilt Puppet Theatre performance by holding a cake sale.

The children participated fully in the event. Thy helped to set up the cake stalls,  write price labels, serve the cakes, handle cash and count the money raised. Thank you to all who donated cakes and attended the events the sum raised was £33.15.

Balmullo Primary School and Nursery are an official collection point site supporting the Toy Drive. The children have been discussing that it is kind to share if you are able to – not every family is fortunate to have gifts at Christmas.

The Christmas gifts will be collected at the end of November and distributed to Children and Families in need across North East Fife.
