We have  been learning about using money in the nursery. We had regular visits to the local shop and role-played being a shop keeper and customer . We wrote shopping lists and used real coins in transactions whilst counting and matching. A few children looked on the Smartboard to access illustrations of notes and made their own £5, £10, £20 and £50 notes.
