The children and families provided suggestions for fundraising towards our Clydebuilt Puppet event.

We raised £22.50 from our dressing up day. Thank you.

The children have been returning their Smartie Tubes containing pennies raised from helping out at home. The children have been very busy and proudly shared what they have been working at.

Ben helped.”On the farm, picking things up.”

Toby was busy. “I was washing up and washing the car. Daddy let me do power washes.”

Harry was busy. “Hoovering and dusting.” His favourite was hoovering!

Archie said. “Washed the car with mum. I tidied my toys.”

Max shared. “I made the tea…I made the fish.”

Brodie was busy. ” I was cleaning up and putting the washing powder in.”

Emily shared she helped. “Cooking with Mummy – sausages.”

Connor, Jaisleen and Lennon were very busy tidying bedrooms, washing and putting toys away.

The children were excited to harvest our crop of potatoes. They shared ideas about how we could use them.

“We could cook them and make potato soup. It’s yummy – I’ve had it before its delicious!!!” Said Harry.

Kyle wondered.” Do pink potatoes taste the same?”

The children made suggestions about what they would like to plant next -potatoes, carrots, lettuce. Saul suggested tomatoes and asked if we could buy a green house.

We were preparing snack using our own potato harvest and our Halloween pumpkin.  The children learned about hygiene, healthy eating, kitchen safety and developed their fine motor skills.

The nursery children visited the local shop, playgroup , surgery and the Burnside Hall delivering posters about the Coffee Morning and Afternoon on Tuesday 8th November. The boys were developing confidence as they engaged with people explaining we were raising money towards our puppet show.
