This applies to children who turn five between mid-August 2024 and end of February 2025, their parents can choose to enrol them in P1 or retain them for an additional nursery year. The paperwork for the additional nursery year must be completed by end of day on 31st January. There are pros and cons to retaining and you must discuss this with me to get the full picture. Lucy Jess<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Dates for this term:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday 26<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0January\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 P1-7 Ceilidh in the afternoon \u2013 1 adult per family is welcome to join us, the capacity of the hall won\u2019t allow for more unfortunately.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday 13<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0February\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Pancake Day. All P1-7 children will get a pancake and drink at playtime. Please donate \u00a31 towards the cost if you can. Nursery children will get a pancake in Nursery \u2013 no charge as this will be covered by Nursery contribution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday 14<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0February<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Inservice Training Day \u2013 School and Nursery closed to pupils<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0February<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 P1-7 STEM Afternoon \u2013 parents invited in to do a piece of STEM learning with their child.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday 15<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and Friday\u00a0<\/strong>16<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0February \u2013 School Holidays<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Thursday 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 World Book Day \u2013 All children invited to wear a costume.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday 11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 P6\/7 to Dalguise \u2013 leaving after lunch and getting back at approximately 3.30pm on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday 20th March<\/strong> \u2013 Parent Teacher Meetings 5-7pm <strong>(Info about signing up for an appointment time will follow)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday 26th March<\/strong> \u2013 Parent Teacher Meetings 3.30-5.30pm <strong>(Info about signing up for an appointment time will follow)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday 28<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Last day of term 3<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Enrolment for Nursery and P1 Enrolments for Nursery from August 2024 are now open: Click here for more information.
