We follow the Curriculum for Excellence, a national framework for providing learning experiences and opportunities to prepare children and young people for learning, life and work in a changing world.\u00a0 Children learn in a variety of ways in eight curricular areas designed to reflect the circumstances of our school and the needs of our children.<\/p>\n

Literacy, Numeracy and Health & Wellbeing are the core subjects and taught across the curriculum, allowing children to practise and transfer these skills.\u00a0 Children’s wider achievements are recognised and celebrated.\u00a0 We value wider learning beyond the school and know these contribute to overall success and self-worth.<\/p>\n
Our children are consulted on aspects\u00a0 learning, teaching, experiences and events. These views are sued as part of our improvement journey and contribute to the yearly plan.\u00a0 There are opportunities for parents to contribute and be consulted on how our curriculum develops, through surveys, conversations, parents groups and the Parent Council.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
