This Week’s TESS

We are in this weeks TESS.  It’s all about how we use eportfolio’s in our classroom.

Eco Week

We’ve had a great time celebrating Eco Week.  We had an assembly today where we paraded all the Eco-bugs we made for homework.  We also showed this video of all the activities we’ve done this week.

Friday 9th September 2011

Last week we had outdoor learning at our local loch, our task was to pick leaves off trees then identify them and stick them to card and laminate so we knew what leaves came from which trees. We got the leaves last week, this week we got to identify and laminate them.

First we had to sort everybodys leaves out as some people were in pairs and some were alone. It didn’t take long to sort and soon we got to identify the leaves using a few cool websites. Some people had a lot of one leaf and some had a lot of other.
