SQA signs partnership agreement with INSSO
SQA has signed an agreement with the International Network of Sector Skills Organisations (INSSO) to promote closer working between the two organisations. The agreement provides joint collaboration opportunities in the development of vocational skills systems, particularly in the field of linking world-class skills standards to acknowledged qualifications and regulatory frameworks

SQA’s extensive art collection of work produced by students studying Art and Design courses is now available to borrow via SQA’s new service Art Online.
Most artwork in the collection is framed and can be used for local exhibitions or as a teaching resource.
New Qualifications- June update
Assessment overviews have now been published on SQA website for every Course from National 2 to National 5.
The assessment overviews describe the Course and Unit assessment support materials that SQA will produce for practitioners in session 2012/13 by subject and level.

Two major milestones on the route towards introduction of Scotland’s new National Qualifications were delivered yesterday (Monday 30 April) by the Scottish Qualifications Authority and Education Scotland.
SQA has published the final course, unit and assessment specifications for the 197 new National Qualifications at National 2, National 3, National 4, National 5 and Higher levels. See www.sqa.org.uk/curriculumforexcellence.
