School Meals

Primary Menus offer healthy and tasty meal options whilst reflecting the Scottish Government food and drink legal requirements for School Lunches. Primary School Menus provide 3 daily choices.

All P1-3 pupils are entitled to a free school meal. In the case of P4-P7 and secondary aged pupils, some families may be eligible to apply to Falkirk Council for provision of free school meals. Further details can be obtained from your child’s school.

The price at present for the school meal is £2.05.
The meals are colour coded and bands are issued accordingly. Our kitchen staff have a very good relationship with our children. After lunch, children go out to the playground to play.

We currently operate a breakfast club each day from 8.15 onwards. Children can come and go on a daily basis, the cost of the breakfast is £ 1.45. Children are supervised by a Support For Learning Assistant. Children who are entitled to a free school meal can also apply to get a free breakfast at the breakfast club.

We encourage children to bring a healthy play piece to school and fresh water; if their bottle of water is finished children can re-fill their bottle of water from various taps in school.
Children are not allowed to bring cans or bottles to school. Fizzy juice is not allowed.
