Description

The chimpanzee is a large mammal. They have human features like:  ears, hands, feet and hair.

 

This is one of our cheeky chimpanzees.

 

Diet

Chimpanzees like to eat: seeds, fruit, honey, flowers and insects. The types of fruit they eat are: apples, bananas, oranges and pears. The seeds they eat are palm nuts, kola nuts and panda nuts, they also use hard rocks to hit the peanut shell open.

 

Young

Baby chimpanzees have a little white tail, It disappears after their childhood. They then have the same diet as an adult chimpanzee.

 

Habitat

Chimpanzees live in places such as: Savanna woodland, Grassland forests and Tropical rain forests.
