Primary 6 have been learning all about life in Victorian times. Yesterday, their classroom was transformed into a Victorian classroom, giving the children the chance to experience a little of what it might have been like to attend school during that era.<\/p>\n
The pupils discovered how strict Victorian classrooms could be and learned about the routines, expectations and rules that children had to follow. They took part in traditional activities and experienced a very different style of learning from what they are used to today.<\/p>\n
It was a fantastic way to bring their topic to life and helped the children develop a deeper understanding of what school life was like for children in the Victorian period.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
