The Four Nations Maths Challenge has come and gone! Schools and students from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales have competed to become the national champions! Congratulations to all who participated.

To reward everyone’s fantastic participation and effort in the challenge, each gold coin collected will have earned you 10 credits at the end of the challenge!
Day 1 of the challenge saw a maximum of 30 coins to collect; 3 coins to collect for each topic. On Day 1 pupils from the four nations answered over 5 million questions and over 41/2 million questions were correct.
Day 2 saw 150 coins to collect, 10 coins on levels 1 to 5, and double coins (20 coins) on levels 6 to 10 of Live Mathletics. On Day 2 nearly 11 million questions were answered with 92% accuracy! Fantastic!
With almost 2 whole days there was everything to play for!
Pupils from P6M have worked very enthusiastically throughout both days of the challenge, both at school and at home. The computer suite was even buzzing at lunchtime when many pupils gave up part of their break to score points. We have made it onto the Scottish leader board several times throughout the two days.
Well done to all the children who worked so hard on their Mathletics last night. You have boosted our class score and taken us to 13th place on the UK leaderboard with 27 041 points.
