Organisational Development, Professional Review and Development, Probationer Support, Digital Technologies, Health &amp; Wellbeing, Library Support for Schools, and central support for work experience.<\/p>\n<p>The team supports the recommendations of <em>Teaching Scotland\u2019s Future \u2013 Report of a review of teacher education in Scotland <\/em>(Graham Donaldson, December 2010) in contributing towards building the professional capacity of staff to ensure a positive impact on young people\u2019s learning, supporting and strengthening leadership, promoting the highest standards of professional competence and commitment, working with partners to promote the delivery of career-long teacher education, developing and sharing good practice across all educational establishments in Falkirk Council.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"ttfmake-hr\" style=\"border-style: solid; background-repeat: no-repeat;background-position: center center;\">\n<div class=\"builder-section-content\">\n<div class=\"builder-text-row\">\n<div class=\"builder-text-column builder-text-column-1\" id=\"builder-section-text_39-column-1\">\n<div class=\"builder-text-content\">\n<h3>The Curriculum Support Team:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides a strategic lead for innovation and development.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates flexibility and creativity<\/li>\n<li>Provides credible and valuable encouragement and support<\/li>\n<li>Adds value to the quality of the service provided by educational establishments<\/li>\n<li>Communicates and collaborates effectively<\/li>\n<li>Builds and maintains quality relationships<\/li>\n<li>Develops and implements sustainable systems<\/li>\n<li>Influences practice and development and provides mechanisms for sharing practice<\/li>\n<li>Responds effectively to national\/local\/educational establishment priorities<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinates, develops and leads Continuing Professional Development opportunities related to authority and educational establishment priorities<\/li>\n<li>Undertakes regular validated self-evaluation<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"builder-text-column builder-text-column-2\" id=\"builder-section-text_39-column-2\">\n<div class=\"builder-text-content\">\n<h3>Members of the Curriculum Support team:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>provide face-to-face professional dialogue, and respond to requests for advice by telephone and email from colleagues across all sectors of the education services<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0contribute to working parties, focus groups, networks and curriculum management groups, bringing their experience of working in and with educational establishments to focus on developing practices for learners<\/li>\n<li>provide one-to-one support for colleagues across all sectors of the education services<\/li>\n<li>contribute to the research and preparations for guidance documentation in consultations with colleagues in educational establishments &amp; nationally<\/li>\n<li>research and evaluate resources to meet identified needs of educational establishments and undertake the required procurement processes<\/li>\n<li>support educational establishments in complying with legislation, and local and national guidance, in the delivery of learning and teaching experiences and outcomes<\/li>\n<li>support and encourage educational establishments in meeting the requirements of local and national awards, competitions and accreditation schemes<\/li>\n<li>work in partnership with educational establishments and others in adding value to validated self evaluation<\/li>\n<li>liaise\u00a0with\u00a0other\u00a0agencies\u00a0to\u00a0improve\u00a0outcomes\u00a0for\u00a0learners<\/li>\n<li>co-ordinate the deployment of authority-wide resources within educational establishments<\/li>\n<li>organise, co-ordinate and support authority-wide events and activities<\/li>\n<li>develop, co-ordinate, maintain and promote online spaces for sharing resources and practice, and for collaboration within and across educational establishments locally and nationally<\/li>\n<li>provide continuing professional development within educational establishments and centrally<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"builder-section-text_69\" class=\"builder-section-prev-text builder-section builder-section-text builder-section-last builder-text-columns-1\" style=\"background-size: cover;
