Many thanks for your ongoing support of your son/daughter in Braes High School. We are keen to keep all our parents/carers aware of the supports that may be available to families as their young people move through secondary school. As such we are contacting all parents/carers in our school email communication with details of how supports such as free school meals and clothing grants can be applied for. We do recognise that not all pupils will be eligible for these applications. With regard to some opportunities for pupils post-school, being registered form Free Meal Entitlement can help young people when moving on to their next destination.

Normally, completed applications need to be returned to a Falkirk Council One Stop Shop. However to support families with this, Braes High School will undertake to deliver applications to the authority. The deadline to be included in the bulk delivery is Friday 4th December. If you would like to apply for either of these supports please return the completed application form to the school office by this date. Applications can continue after that date by returning them to a One Stop Shop.
