Description
Raccoons are very round and fuzzy mammals that have bushy tails and black fur covering their eyes like a thief.
Diet
Raccoons usually eat fruits, nuts, plants, berries, insects, rodents (small mammals), frogs, eggs and sometimes trash. Baby Raccoons eat nuts, insects, fish, frogs and berries.
Young
A Raccoon can have up to 8 babies at once, pregnancy lasts 9 weeks.
Habitat
Raccoons can be in a lot of areas but they are mainly found near water, trees and also found in cities and near trash.
Interesting fact
Today there are 20 times more Raccoons in cities than there were 70 years ago. Raccoons usually are quite happy to live in cities rather than in the wild.
