Description

Elephants are grey in colour. They are very large mammals.

Diet

Elephants eat grass, fruit, bark , small plants and twigs. Baby Elephants eat their mothers milk and plants (usually leaves and grass). An Elephants favourite food is mostly soggy tree bark.

Young

Elephants can have one baby at a time.Their pregnancy lasts 645 days!

Habitat

Elephants live in grasslands or desserts. Elephants are usually found in North and South Africa.
