{"id":74,"date":"2025-07-08T09:49:02","date_gmt":"2025-07-08T08:49:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fa\/rannochelcc\/?page_id=74"},"modified":"2025-07-16T09:42:07","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T08:42:07","slug":"elc-guidance","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fa\/rannochelcc\/?page_id=74","title":{"rendered":"Story Books"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Children&#8217;s Story Books<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Each child has a \u201cStory Book\u201d which your child and their adults complete to document and<br \/>\nevaluate their learning experiences and development.<\/p>\n<p>These are stored at child level and children are actively encouraged to access these<br \/>\nthroughout the day, as well as add in their own mark making, designs, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Families are normally encouraged to read, comment and add to these as often as they<br \/>\nwould like. These are set up to record your child\u2019s learning both in our centre and at home.<\/p>\n<p>We use a \u201cFocus Child\u201d Approach, where a key group is the focus of observation for a two<br \/>\nweek period.
