3a) Describe how you monitored and evaluated your progress in relation to the development of the Emotional Factor (4)
Method 1: A training diary can be used to monitor the ongoing development of your performance. I completed the diary straight after my training session as it allowed me to record me thoguhts and feelings on how a performance had went and what training approaches worked well. I would also make a note of any other development needs I identified.
Method 2: Another method I used to monitor my progress was retesting using the ‘Self Reflective Emotional Analysis’. I undertook the 5 questions involved in this test and rated my ability to manage certain emotions during my performance. I was then able to compare this to my score at the start of the development programme
