Description

 Meerkats have bushy fur, a pointed face, and large eyes. They are also very small and cute. They’re average size is 25 to 30 centimetres.

Diet

A meerkats diet usually consists of beetles, scorpions, centipede larvae and  spiders. Meerkats are omnivores.

Young

Meerkat’s babies are called pups. Their lifespan is usually 12-14 years.

Habitat

Meerkats usually live in grasslands or deserts in Southern Africa. Surprisingly, they don’t need water to survive!
