Description

Koalas are well known for their round head, furry round ears and big black nose.

Diet

Koalas only eat eucalyptus trees. There are more than 600 different kinds of eucalyptus trees and for koalas each tree looks and tastes very different!

Young

When an baby koala is born, it would straight away start climbing up to its mother’s pouch. The baby koalas are actually blind and earless when they are first born! The koalas would be there for about 5-6 months.

Habitat

Koalas live over a range of open forest and woodlands . Koalas are found in higher places where food trees are growing.
