Poison Dart Frog

 

Description

A Poison Dart Frog can come in many sizes and many colours. You can get blue ones, orange ones, even golden ones and many more. Some come in sizes of the top of a pencil! Cool right.

Diet

A Poison Dart Frog likes a variety of different insects. Some have different taste for example a Blue Poison Dart Frog likes Beetles, Flies, Ants and Caterpillars but a Golden Poison Dart Frog likes mainly the same except they also like spiders and maggots.

 

Young

Dart Frogs lay eggs, and they lay 1-40 eggs per 3-4 weeks! From a tadpole it only takes 2 or 3 months for it to become a full grown.

Habitat

Poison Dart Frogs usually live in quite wet places, they like tropical forests too. They main countries they live in are Central and South America.

Interesting Fact!

The most poisonous of the Poison Dart Frog is the golden Poison Dart Frog.
