A baby crocodile is called a hatchling. The mother crocodile carries her hatchlings by placing them in her jaws.
Habitat
Crocodiles are usually found in Africa, Asia, Australia and America. They like to live near lakes or rivers.
Interesting Fact
The largest crocodile was Lolong he was 20ft and 3inch in length and unfortunately passed away on 10th February 2013 from pneumonia and cardiac arrest.
