Admissions at Glenburn ELC

Applying for a nursery place at Glenburn Early Learning & Childcare Centre is done through Falkirk Council’s Early Years Team, who manage all applications for funded 3–5 year‑old places and eligible 2‑year‑old places. [falkirk.gov.uk]

How to Apply for a Nursery Place

For 3–5 Year Olds (Funded Places)

All applications for 3–5 year olds are managed directly by Falkirk Council’s Early Years Team.
To apply for a funded place, you must complete the online application form through Falkirk Council. [falkirk.gov.uk]

You do not need to reapply if your child already attends a Falkirk Council nursery.

For Eligible 2 Year Olds (Funded Places)

Eligible 2‑year‑old places are also handled by the Early Years Team.

For Paying 2 Year Old Places

If you wish to apply for a paying 2‑year‑old place, you can collect an application form directly from Glenburn ELC. You will need to bring the following when returning your form:

  • Your child’s birth certificate or passport
  • Proof of address

Important Notes

  • Closing dates apply each year. Falkirk Council applications for the next academic year close on 28 February. 
  • If you wish to transfer to a different nursery, you must request a transfer form from the Early Years Team.
  • Start dates and settling periods are arranged directly with the nursery once a place is allocated.
