Skills Framework

What is it?

Falkirk’s learners, and future workforce, need constantly developing skills, knowledge and capabilities to thrive in this complex, ever-changing environment. The meta-skills Progression Framework defines timeless, higher-order skills, with examples of meta-skills across CfE levels from Early Years through to Senior Phase. Each setting and school will be engaging at a different level with a Skills Framework appropriate to their own context and improvement priorities, and this area of the Falkirk Education Hub will give all schools and central staff the opportunity to share materials, resources and practice to support continuous improvement.
