Practitioners from these services will be sharing their knowledge and expertise with attendees during the different sessions.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Session 1<\/strong><\/span> will be delivered by members of the Early Years Central Team and this will focus briefly on initial steps in supporting children with potential ASN in the early years.<\/p>\n<p>Here we will think about and discuss:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Different stages of intervention<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fa\/public\/falkirkearlyyears\/uploads\/sites\/1373\/2021\/10\/01101648\/Supporting-Children.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3324 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fa\/public\/falkirkearlyyears\/uploads\/sites\/1373\/2021\/10\/01101648\/Supporting-Children-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"442\" height=\"249\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fa\/public\/falkirkearlyyears\/uploads\/sites\/1373\/2021\/10\/01101648\/Supporting-Children-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fa\/public\/falkirkearlyyears\/uploads\/sites\/1373\/2021\/10\/01101648\/Supporting-Children-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fa\/public\/falkirkearlyyears\/uploads\/sites\/1373\/2021\/10\/01101648\/Supporting-Children-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fa\/public\/falkirkearlyyears\/uploads\/sites\/1373\/2021\/10\/01101648\/Supporting-Children.jpg 1260w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 442px) 100vw, 442px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<li>Sensory<\/li>\n<li>Behaviour<\/li>\n<li>Referral Process<\/li>\n<li>Support available<\/li>\n<li>Child\u2019s Plan<\/li>\n<li>Building positive relationships with parents and families<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Session 2<\/strong><\/span> will be delivered by practitioners from Aberlour and during this we will focus on nurture, attachment and environments.<\/p>\n<p>This session will incorporate a brief overview of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Early Brain Development<\/li>\n<li>Why our feelings matter<\/li>\n<li>Why our interactions matter<\/li>\n<li>The Five to Thrive Approach<\/li>\n<li>Why the words we use matter<\/li>\n<li>Why the environment matters<\/li>\n<li>What to do if it\u2019s not working<\/li>\n<li>Importance of reflective practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Session 3<\/strong><\/span> will be delivered by practitioners from the Inclusion and Wellbeing Service and here we will focus on aspects of challenging behaviour and restorative practice in early years.<\/p>\n<p>During this session we will reflect on and discuss:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Behaviour as communication<\/li>\n<li>Attachment<\/li>\n<li>Stress responses<\/li>\n<li>Triggers<\/li>\n<li>Conflict cycle<\/li>\n<li>Strategies to support young people<\/li>\n<li>Sensory processing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We hope as many settings as possible will access this training so please sign up via CPD Manager.
