P1 made a beanstalk for Jack. The dragon asked us to and we were happy to help!

Last week the children in primary 1 were amazed to find a scroll in their classroom, left by a friendly dragon! The dragon has lost all its fairy tale friends and has asked primary 1 to help rebuild fairy tale land! Primary 1 have already been reading lots more fairy tale stories and have built a new bean stalk for Jack. They still have a lot to do. More to follow over the next few weeks.

On Monday the 30th January 2012, Mairi Hedderwick, the author of the Katie Morag stories visited Easter Carmuirs Primary School. She read to children from nursery to primary 3 and everyone enjoyed the experience!
