A couple of weeks ago Mrs Guthrie organised a bike safety man from Bikeability came to show us about bike safety. He taught us how to ride on roads and taught us all about junctions and he showed us a life saver look. When you look behind your right shoulder and see if any cars are coming it’s called a life saver look because it will save your life. I went to Bikeability I passed level 1 it was fun. So hopefully I get Bikeability level 2 at our school. There is also level 3 but that is for high-school and for older people. He also explained an M check, when you check the whole bike for any problems and it’s easy to do, no tools required. Basically check the wheels, the brakes and the saddle, its best to do it every time you’re going to ride. So I would like to say a big thank-you to John for coming to teach us about bike safety it could save me or other people’s lives.
