Assessment arrangements allow candidates who are disabled, and/or have been identified as having additional support needs (ASN) access to appropriate arrangements to complete to assessment by way of “reasonable adjustment”. The purpose of the assessment arrangements is to provide candidates with an equal opportunity to demonstrate their attainment in an assessment without compromising the integrity of the assessment. In all cases, it is the individual assessment needs of candidates that must be the basis for the provision of an assessment arrangement.
