In March 2025, Connected Falkirk’s Lauren McKechnie led young explorers in this ‘Classroom Jungle’ live interactive lesson based on the British Science Week theme of ‘adaptations.

Pupils learned how to digitally camouflage themselves into their classroom backgrounds, explored and learned about adaptations that help organisms survive in their environments, designed their own classroom creatures with a whole host of fun adaptations to help them survive our ‘classroom jungle’ interactive story, and brought their classroom creatures to life using AR and create some fun mini-documentaries David Attenborough style.
