Kakuma is a refugee settlement. Families cannot afford to send their children to school. The Vocational Center educates over 800 refugee children in STEM subjects to prepare them for the world of work. Sadly their building was burned down. We have been considering why we value education so much.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gofund.me\/5aa4b32c\">https:\/\/gofund.me\/5aa4b32c<\/a><\/p>\n<p>P1 have been reading Malala\u2019s Magic Pencil and discovered that in some places girls cannot have an education or do the jobs they want. \u00a0We have set up a Flipgrid for children to share their voices about why education is important.
