Toucan

  • Toucans are well-known for their large, sharp, brightly coloured bills (breaks). they use their long bills to reach for fruit on the tips of branches that might be out of reach of other birds. They also eat insects, small reptiles, and other bird eggs. Like their relatives, woodpeckers, toucans are woodland birds.

Hello this is the Big British zoo website.                                          You will find all of your information here.

We have lots of animals such as hyenas, sloths, flamingos, boas, chimpanzees, orangutans, giraffes, penguins, tomato frogs, toucans, pandas, hippos and koalas.

Come see our new sloths!!

Opening times are: 10:00am – 5:30pm  Monday-Saturday                  Tickets will be available on the 12th APRIL 2021

  • Chimps can jump approximately 0.7 meters.
  • Chimpanzees run up to the speed of 25mph.
  • Male chimpanzees are called Pan troglodytes.
  • There’s 712,000-300,000 chimpanzees remaining in the wild.
