Starting Monday 28th September it’s MATHS WEEK SCOTLAND!

What better way to get involved than taking your Maths outdoors!

As well as the resources  on the Maths Week Scotland website, each day this week we’ll signpost activities on a different theme starting with SHAPE

 

  • Why not try going on a shape hunt – in the play ground or local area  – what shapes can you see?

There are 2D and 3D shapes to spot everywhere!  You can try different ways of recording what you can find.

  • There are so many fun ways outdoors to create and explore the properties of shapes using natural materials
