Expansion of Early Learning and Childcare

The Scottish Government now provides funding to allow three and four-year-old children to receive 600 hours of free early learning and childcare every year. That works out at around 16 hours every week over school term times.

From August 2015, some families with two-year-old children also qualify to receive the free early learning and childcare.
