Commonwealth food tasting
Tesco Farm to Fork Project 28.05.14
A fantastic morning was had by all on our recent trip to Tesco Redding to take part in the Farm to Fork project. We got to taste, touch, feel and smell lots of different foods. Thank you to everyone at Tesco who supported our learning.
Science: Day and Night Roadshow
We really enjoyed the science roadshow on Friday (16th of May).
Emily and Holly were lucky to be selected as helpers!
Holly had to help to hold the sun, while Emily had to find Scotland on the globe.
Hockey Taster Session
As part of our learning for the Commonwealth Games we are taking part in 3 weeks of hockey sessions with Paul a player with Falkirk Hockey Club. This week we were all learning how to hold our sticks correctly and to control the ball.
Graeme Cluster Baton Relay
We welcomed the baton to school and even got to hold it.
John Muir Festival
We have been learning about John Muir in class and enjoyed our afternoon in the woods as part of the John Muir Festival.
Tae kwon do
As part of our Commonwealth sports experiences we enjoyed a taster Tae kwon do session with Silvano.
Parachute Games
We have really been enjoying the parachute games in our PE Lessons!
Pebble Party!
Yipee!!
We have achieved another 30 class pebbles.
We had our pebble party this afternoon and watched a film, had some treats and then went outdoors to use some of the play equipment.
Well Done everyone – let’s keep up the great work and try to get another 30!
