i guess since the Local Authority has bought (maybe not using hard cash, but definitely with time and resources) into this site in a big way, we’ve started using think.com, lots. It’s a “safe” area for blogging, having polls, creating web pages and emailing. There are a lot of admin settings which mean you can basically block the outside world – defeats part of the point of the World Wide Web, no? But it does provide security, with all messages, postings etc. being able to be back traced to source by anyone with admin rights.
It’s ideal to set up to work with your class, or you can set up a project with a partner school if you have developed links (or been given links) to another school.
