Some of us went to Brightons Parish Church and entertained the Friendship Plus Group with Scottish songs, poems and dances.  Everyone really enjoyed it.

We created posters using catalogue pictures to learn about costs and the value of money.

On Monday our parents came in to help us make models to retell the story of The Pied Piper of Hamelin. The next day we presented them to the class. We showed that we could retell a story in our own words. Everyone did really well!

We made a bug hotel with Simon, the ranger from Muiravonside Country Park. We hope lots of bugs and small animals will come!

We had our first digital leaders meeting today. We learned how to update our Blog!

We took part in Dress Loud today. Some of us were lucky enough to be interviewed by Paul Harper from Heart Radio.  Our picture is also on the Heart Scotland website.

We collected books to donate to Oxfam.  P4-7 wrote letters about the work of Oxfam and they will go inside a book when it is sold. We visited the shop in

Linlithgow to hand over our books.

Our interdisciplinary work this term was based on the book ‘Black Tide’. We showed our work at Braes High School with other schools in the cluster.

We have taken part in a K-nex challenge, a shape workshop and ‘Think Science’ workshop so far. We have learned loads of facts and had great fun in the process.

We used our Scottish poems as a stimulus and created a street linked to our poems.
