In class we learned about the Water Cycle and also the changes that a river goes through as it makes its journey from up in the mountains down to the sea. To help us understand how this works we did some Outdoor Learning to re-enact the course of a river using what we’d learned. Scotland Maps
For our Scottish Landscpaes topic we had a go at drawing our own outline maps of Scotland. Even all the crinkly bits and islands! No rulers, no tracing, just using the skills we’ve been practicing in art to do with checking carefully and drawing lines lightly & gradually. I’m very impressed with the results!
