Romans Assembly
As the final part of our Romans topic, we designed and performed an assembly to the rest of the school. It went REALLY well!
Popcorn!
As part of our work for the Christmas Enterprise Fair, we all helped make popcorn to sell. The machine was very noisy and very messy too!
Roman Box Homework
Hi, well done finding the blog! Here are the photos of the items from the Roman Box, which is on loan from Callendar House. Over the next few days we will add audio clips so you can hear some of the pupils talking about their ideas.
For the Homework task please have a look at the photos with your child if you have time and try to work out what you think they are. If you’d like to you can then add your suggestions as comments here or, if you prefer, your child can write them in their jotter. Don’t worry if you’re not too sure what they are- we talked in class about how every archaeologist is entitled to their opinion!

I am just wondering if, just maybe, please, do you have any fire? It’s all I can eat. Also do you have sweet mud? It’s all I can drink. If you do then send some up because I’m starving!!!!!!!! Send it up to balackamot 555. Tomorrow I am coming down to and I need ammo for my ship.
I heard anto9 primary school need things to do down in earth so please tell me what anto9 is like. If I like it I might start school there.
If you have ever heard of a pond I would like to know about it. There is a sport called fishing in my planet and I love it.
The last thing in this letter is I’m warning you. bootsal569 is evil; he is coming to destroy your planet.
You can stop him by making the gold trees blow. You can find them under rough castle.

Hello my name is Bobblehead, I come from Bobble planet. It is called that because it is shaped as a giant green head. My planet is in dimension 59 but my house is in the street Slimedale Place, in Slime City.
Anyway, I am coming to destroy your planet once and for all “Mohahahahaaaaaa” I will destroy your dimension with an ultra nuclear explosion right at your planet and destroy China, Jamaica, Scotland, Italy, Rome, Poland, Spain and the USA.

Pop Art
In class we’ve been looking at Pop Art. We learned about the work and ideas of artists such as Peter Blake.
We took the concept of ‘everything as art’ and the use of bold colours to create our own colourful Pop Art.
