They develop the skills for personal planning and making decisions in the context of curriculum, learning and achievement which will prepare them for next stages in life.<\/p>\n<p>This programme should be used in conjunction with the guidelines set out in <a href=\"https:\/\/education.gov.scot\/media\/xaqldnws\/learner-participation.pdf\">Learner Participation in Educational Settings (3-18)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Learners should experience activities which enable them to develop the skills and attributes they will need if they are to achieve and sustain positive destinations beyond school.
