{"id":724,"date":"2023-03-07T11:10:11","date_gmt":"2023-03-07T11:10:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/es\/software\/?page_id=724"},"modified":"2023-04-17T16:53:38","modified_gmt":"2023-04-17T15:53:38","slug":"complexity-and-tips","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/es\/software\/applications-development\/week-1\/complexity-and-tips\/","title":{"rendered":"Complexity and tips"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>How complex does this need to be?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The app should be of a sufficient level of complexity for an SCQF level 6 Unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An information\/multimedia app should have at least six separate pages, three types of media (text, images, animation, audio or video) and it should be possible to easily navigate between those pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A game application should contain at least four separate graphics and at least two sounds. The graphics could represent a main character, non-playable characters (NPCs), objects to be avoided or destroyed and pickups\/collectables. Feel free to suggest alternatives. Plan your time and stick to the timetable.<\/li><li>The final design doesn\u2019t have to be the first step. Rough design, prototype, final design, finished application can sometimes be more useful.<\/li><li>Be honest in your evaluation.
