Tha Rum 1 air a bhith trang an t-seachdain seo ag obair air na diofar dhoighar san urrain dhuinn a bhith coir agus laghadh ri na daoine mun cuairt oirnn.
Lots of class discussion has been going on this week in Room 1 about respect, feelings and how we treat others.
We designed our own handprints to show five different ways that we can be kind and respectful to one and other.
We also made ‘friendship flowers’. Here we had to think of 2 good things about ourselves and write them in 2 petals. The other 3 were filled in by 3 friends in our class.
Tha Rùm 1 agus 5 air a bhith ag obair còmhla air na sgilean leughaidh aca. Deagh dhoigh airson misneachd a bhrosnachadh!
Rooms 1 and 5 have been doing some paired reading. This is such a great way for both classes to develop their reading skills and gain in confidence when reading!
The Homework Club will start next Wednesday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm, for P3-7 pupils. This club will run on a weekly basis for the foreseeable future.
Room 1 have been learning all about estimating and measuring. Yesterday they had lots of fun going around the school finding different and interesting things to measure. They used cubes, rulers and meter sticks to measure, after writing down their estimation.
The Bookbug came to visit the school earlier this week. He visited all the classes and the Sgoil-Araich to tell them that they would be receiving Book Bags this month, during Book Week Scotland.
Primary 1 pupils will get a family bag to take home and Primary 2 and 3 will get a ‘Read, Write and Count’ bag.
We are very excited for Book Week Scotland and can’t wait to hand the bags out to our pupils!
#OutdoorClassroomDay in Room 1!
Ged gun robh i fuar, bha spòrs gu leor aig a h-uile duine agus chòrd e rinn a bhith ag obair taobh a-muigh na sgoile.
Room 1 and 3 spent time together this afternoon on the bikes and trikes. The 2 classes enjoyed playing together and everyone had great fun. What a great way to end the term!
