{"id":2261,"date":"2018-03-12T12:17:47","date_gmt":"2018-03-12T12:17:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/es\/sess\/?p=2261"},"modified":"2018-03-12T12:17:47","modified_gmt":"2018-03-12T12:17:47","slug":"2261","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/es\/sess\/2018\/03\/12\/2261\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Parent Forum has elected a Parent Council that meets twice during the school term, with representation from nursery, primary and secondary sectors.<\/p>\n<p>The role of the Parent Council is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the school in its work with parents<\/li>\n<li>Represent the views of all parents<\/li>\n<li>Encourage links between the school, parents, pupils, pre school groups and the wider community<\/li>\n<li>Report back to the Parent Forum (all parents are members of the Parent Forum).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Parents\/Carers are encouraged to volunteer or put themselves forward to be chosen as representatives of the Parent Council.
