They eagerly shared each discovery they made, creating stories and adding an emotional context to the activity:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;That&#8217;s a baby slug, let&#8217;s find his mummy!&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wpa-warning wpa-image-missing-alt alignnone size-full wp-image-1269\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/es\/public\/outdoorlearning\/uploads\/sites\/3628\/2025\/01\/08160837\/thumbnail_IMG_6952.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"481\" height=\"640\" data-warning=\"Missing alt text\" \/><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The young people found so many minibeasts they decided to create a bug hotel. It was agreed the bug hotel would provide somewhere for the young people and staff to rehome minibeasts they found during outdoor play, to keep them safe.
