{"id":1112,"date":"2015-03-30T18:18:05","date_gmt":"2015-03-30T18:18:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sgoilabhac.org.uk\/?p=1112"},"modified":"2015-03-30T18:18:05","modified_gmt":"2015-03-30T18:18:05","slug":"scholastic-book-fair-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/es\/back\/2015\/03\/30\/scholastic-book-fair-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Scholastic Book Fair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A very successful Scholastic Bookfair was run by GP6\/7 as a <strong>Scholastic Business School.\u00a0 <\/strong>It went beyond just literacy and it encouraged the pupils to develop real-world skills including <strong>financial awareness<\/strong>, <strong>creative thinking<\/strong>, <strong>responsibility<\/strong> and <strong>teamwork<\/strong>. Pupils had to apply for positions by filling in application forms, submitting CVs and writing letters. This year the total rewards came to <strong>\u00a3510.05<\/strong> which will be spent to stock up our library.<\/p>\n<p>Pupils were responsible for the advertising, displaying, selling, ordering and totalling up the money each day. Alongside the bookfair pupils, as events co-ordinators, organised competitions.
