At Sgoil a’ Bhac, we take our Gaelic language, culture and heritage very seriously.\u00a0 Throughout the school year we look to promote the place of our Gaelic language in the life of the school and across the local community. One of the ways this is done is through the oral Gaelic speaking competitionfor Primary 7 pupils –\u00a0 Dileab an t-siorraidh.<\/p>\n
In June 2024, one of the subjects which children could speak about was ‘Mi fhein ‘s mo Ghaidhlig’ which means ‘Me and My Gaelic.’ The link below will take you to some short videos produced by our Multi Media Unit in Comhairle nan Eilean Siar capturing what some of our former P7 pupils had to say on the subject.<\/p>\n
