The next meeting of Sgoil a’ Bhac Parent Council is:

The Parent Forum is the collective name for every parent at a school. The Parent Forum has\u00a0the right to set up an elected\u00a0Parent Council. All Parent Forum members have the opportunity to\u00a0nominate themselves for Parent Council. All Parent Forum members are also\u00a0welcome to attend Parent Council Meetings.<\/p>\n

Parent Councils help parents to become more actively and effectively involved in their children\u2019s learning.\u00a0 They also aim to represent the views of all parents of children in the school. They were established under the Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006 in recognition of the important role that parents can play, both in their own children\u2019s learning and in the life of a school.<\/p>\n

The role of the Parent Council is to:<\/p>\n
